These settings are available on modules that display draggable objects (selectors) on a surface, such as the XY pad and XYZ pad modules. They are located in the design tab of the settings panel, except the mouse selection mode which is in the properties tab.
Global multiplier applied to the size of every selector. The size of each selector is computed as its own size value multiplied by this factor. Ranges from 0 to 10, default is 1. Use it to enlarge or shrink all the selectors at once without changing their individual sizes.
Global multiplier applied to the font size of the captions displayed inside the selectors. Ranges from 0 to 10, default is 1. Values greater than 1 make the captions bigger, values lower than 1 make them smaller.
Shows or hides the caption (name) displayed inside each selector. When disabled, only the shape of the selector is drawn.
Defines how the selectors are drawn. Can be one of these values:
When enabled, the opacity of each selector depends on its position on the invisible axis of the current view (ie. the Z axis in the top view, the X axis in the side views, the Y axis in the front and rear views). Selectors far from the viewer are drawn more transparent (down to 25% opacity), selectors close to the viewer are fully opaque. This gives a depth cue in 3D. When disabled, all the selectors are fully opaque.
This option is only available on 3D (XYZ) modules.
When several selectors are put in the same group, a link line is drawn from the center of the group to the center of each member of the group. The following settings control the appearance of these link lines.
Thickness in pixels of the group link lines. Ranges from 1 to 10.
Opacity of the group link lines, from 0 (invisible) to 1 (fully opaque).
Color of the group link lines.
Enables or disables the mouse wheel interaction on groups. When enabled, rolling the mouse wheel over a group member enlarges or reduces the whole group (the members are moved away from or toward the center of the group). Holding the CTRL key while rolling the wheel rotates the group around its center instead. When disabled, the mouse wheel has no effect on groups.
The lasso is the rectangle drawn when you click and drag on the background while holding the SHIFT key, it selects all the selectors it encloses.
Opacity of the lasso rectangle, from 0 (invisible) to 1 (fully opaque).
Fill color of the lasso rectangle.
Defines which floating object is grabbed when you click or touch the panel. Can be one of these values:
The "nearest" modes only consider objects that can float on the X or Y axis. Objects already being dragged are ignored.
