The top bar is the horizontal strip displayed at the top of waveform and timeline displays (samplers, recorders, video player, etc.). It shows the selected section of the media, ie. the range between the start pos and end pos values, and lets you edit it with the mouse:
Shows or hides the top bar. Default ON. When hidden, the selected section can no longer be edited with the mouse, the whole height of the display is used by the waveform and clicking anywhere moves the play cursor.
Background color of the top bar.
Height of the top bar in pixels, from 0 to 200, default 10.
Color of the two triangular handles drawn at the start and at the end of the selected section.
Controls how the parts of the display located outside the selected section (before start pos and after end pos) are dimmed with black. At 0 they are completely blacked out, at 1 they are not dimmed at all. Default is 0.5.
On most modules the dimming covers the whole height of the waveform. On the video player it only covers the top bar.
Width in pixels of the two handles used to drag the start and end positions, from 0 to 200. Larger values make the handles easier to grab, especially on touch screens.
