Hello,
Is it possible to create a text / fader / switch combo in a sub patch without having the corresponding pin created in the main sub-patch combo?
Thanks

I asked this same question elsewhere, but didn't get a response--I'm curious too. It's confusing to see pins that are not intended to be used. It breaks the idea of programming to interfaces.
I also consider it a bug that the pins move around on a sub-patch, but the cables outside it do not. It seems connections are being referenced by pin number only--not by name or value.
Also I have subpatches that I cannot get the pins in the desired order, no matter where I move the objects inside the patch. Certain pins insist on staying in certain positions, regardless of where they are internally.
well, that's all my subpatch complaints for today

Hi woodslanding,
It seems we're working the same way and having the same troubles at the same time!
I'm also fighting against those wild moving pins

hello,
- audio in/out, are on top,
- data input/output come after,
- midi in/out,
-and last, all interface modules in the patch (sliders, switch...).
inside these categories, pins are ordered by the position of the module.
for example, if you put a slider on top of a data input, the slider pin will below the data input pin on the subpatch.
hope it help.
The only solution i see is to "encapsulate" you'r text / fader / switch combo in one more subpatch to prevent him to be on the pin list.Is it possible to create a text / fader / switch combo in a sub patch without having the corresponding pin created in the main sub-patch combo?
I asked senso about that some time ago (http://www.sensomusic.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=572). I seems hard to fix.I also consider it a bug that the pins move around on a sub-patch, but the cables outside it do not. on subpatch, pins order is complex. before all, there is at least 4 categories of pins :Also I have subpatchs that I cannot get the pins in the desired order, no matter where I move the objects inside the patch. Certain pins insist on staying in certain positions, regardless of where they are internally.
