Hello all,

Did someone else noticed that in the version 4, when clicking on a button, there is some lag before we can click again.

i tested with a minimal patch :

The bad thing is : if i click to speed, some of them are ignored.
In fact, it seems they are they are not queued by usine.

can someone test and confirm, please

yes in the actual version, there is a distinction between CLICK and DOUBLE_CLICK.
If you click once --> CLICK
If you click twice & fast --> DOUBLE_CLICK

It's made for future utilization of the DOUBLE_CLICK message on buttons.
Since the the DOUBLE_CLICK message on buttons is not yet used in Usine I'll disable it in the next version.

Ok,

Good to know it's not a bug, but for some future new functionality.

For distinction between simple click and double click behavior on button , it should be good to have an inlet letting us choice the behavior we want : simple click, simple click + double click, or only double click.

I have some buttons controlled by a drummer with a pad surface, and when he click at 90 BPM, it's speed. Only simple click is needed, but all of them have to be received by usine.

By the way, if double click isn't used yet, the simplest is to disable it, you're right.

I noticed this as well, although i hadn't yet tried to click anything at speed. I think the double-click feature needs an option to be disabled... I use a touchscreen, so I won't want double-clicks ever!
