hello,

first i have to precise that i'm not into hardcore patching or scripting. But i'm extremly rewarding towards the people who are doing that. For my part i'm just an hardcore user.My question is : Can we have a new kind of arpegiator ? i mean i'm using the one in the add on section but i was hoping one a bit more complex ? So maybe, it can be the occasion to have reflexions and creations of new arpegiator patches??

thank you!!

Yes but we have to define the new arpegiator specifications?

hello Senso,

well to make it understandable (i hope so) :

i choosed to divide the arpegiator module into three parts in order to explain my idea, but at the end it can just be one module :

the first part : it's where you choose yr tonic and rythmic flow (quater note,triolet...) my is idea is to be able to write a pattern using different rythmic value and beeing able to loop this pattern inside the arpegiator.

the second part : it's the scale part, like having a good scale library, including all the major modes and other orignal scale approach like the "Coltrane change" and so on, a new feature can be to add degree movement. I give an example :

i select major modes and i choose degree I and i'm pressing a C note : so i'm hearing Ionian and if i select degree IV i'm hearing now F lydian :), with multiple midi out all these midi notes can be routed separatly or creating a chord to :

the third part : the counterpoint machine, every midi note entering
this module can be harmonized according different counterpoints rules including pitch and rythmic values.

Et voila!!! if you have time to answer it's great

the section 1) and 2) can be easily created as a derivate of the actual arpeggiator.
now the problem is to define the counterpoint rules!
