I know you can connect a fader to an input and assign midi learn. And you could then make the fader invisible, etc.
But it would be nice if the SDK offered a way to interact with midi learn internally - Usine modules such as fader, knob, obiously implement it in some way.
To expand for the SDK, for example, the user module could be told that midi learn was taking place and asked it if has any selected internal components (identified by a module internal reference number - which might not be a parameter). The learn assingment would be made against the user module and the internal reference number.
Then when the midi controller is activated, a new SDK callback for midi learn would pass the midi message and the internal reference number.
That would enable, for example with the SDK simple pad module, each ball to be controlled by a different midi controller, without attaching faders or knobs to the parameters and assigning to them instead.
I don't know how this relates to the SDK "automation" interface, that I have not yet experimented with, but it does seem similar in some respects.
I know - I have too many ideas - I should keep them for playing jazz !!

SDK interact with midi learn
Good suggestion. I don't know exactly how to implement it in a general way, and keep usine smooth with midi but I'll try to fine a solution.
