It has been a real walk in the park setting up usine to be a sheet music reader with my new tablet/laptop hybrid (dell inspiron 7000 series) but it has brought up a few issues.

In order to work on the app, I have to be in laptop mode, so I have access to the mouse and keyboard, but the wkp is designed to be used in portrait mode. This makes the lack of a vertical scrollbar in the IB very frustrating.

The workaround is to zoom in and out. But it's tweaky to get the zoom set just right..... Is there maybe a way to switch programatically?

Also, in fullscreen mode, when the screen rotates to portrait mode, HH's fullscreen does not change dimensions! So no fullscreen mode for now :( Well, actually maybe it will work if I open usine after rotating, I'll try that.

Also, I'd like to hide the toolbar. Is there a way to turn PROTECT mode on and off programatically? I guess ideally, I would like a feature to auto-hide the toolbar, just like the one in windows.

Finally, Usine does not respect my taskbar when sizing the main window on startup. The window is always scaled to the monitor size, not the monitor size minus taskbar. I suspect it is querying the wrong value from windows.

cheers,

Interesting suggestions.
The best should be to create a kind of png slider inside Usine. But it's not so easy.

Actually the protect mode is not accessible inside the audio engine. I'll see how I can improve the "setup" module.

About the full screen you're right we apply the fullscreen mode of windows and windows doesn't calculate the taskbar size. Exactly like in VLC, Firefox, etc. This point is not managed by Usine but by windows. Can't do anything...

Umm, just checked Firefox, Sketchup and Open Office. All instantly changed max window size, reducing it the correct amount, when I turned auto-hide taskbar off. None just left the bottom part of the window under the taskbar.

If it's a windows problem, all these programs have figured out a way around it.

Sorry, I wasn't clear:

Usine does not respect the taskbar when NOT in fullscreen mode. I meant maximized, not fullscreen, wrong terminology.

Here are pics:
usine window showing behind taskbar:

sketchup opens correctly, usine window still visible:

firefox opens correctly, bottom of usine window still visible:
