Binds auto calibrate and reset calibrate?

What do these options do? Cannot find in the manual.

By default the bind calibrate your bus source and your target .

-The auto calibrate option will adapt the bind, for example, if you change the mini/maxi value of your bus source.
-the reset can be necessary in some cases, when you change values , inactivate the auto calibrate...
