Is it possible to have a monophonic Track ?
For example, i have a monophonic sample to play with the sample X1 module. But if i want to ear it on the left an right i shoult have two audio out (one for the left and one for the right).
Is it possible to have just one audio out monophonic wich play on the left and right of the OUT 1 ?
Thank you
Monophonic Track ?
I'm not quite sure whether you mean to sum the stereo out of a sampler into mono or if you need mono output from the audio interface, but both is simple.
To sum audio outs from modules, just assign them to the same inlet - in this case on a single audio output module. In the mixer you should have one bar visible, and the channel acts like a mono channel on any other mixer.
To create a mono output from your soundcard (for monitoring purposes maybe?), just assign the same physical output to both L and R of the virtual output. The same trick goes for inputs: For instance, in my setup I have three inputs - two mono and one stereo - matching a mic input, an instrument input, and a stereo line input respectively.
Calling this a trick is somewhat misleading, since Usine is designed to accomodate different setups without changing the workspaces and patches. If for example you've got a multi-in/-out interface you normally would use, and there are various insert effects or whatever on them, you can still have the same (virtual) inputs and outputs when you're sitting with a laptop on the train using only the internal stereo in/out soundcard.
