Hi,

I don't know what other users will have to say about this, but I wouldn't mind a couple of interface changes if it's not too much trouble implementing:

a) That the list boxes/drop down menus stayed open even when the pointer moves outside of it.

b) That the scroll wheel didn't work unless the pointer is above the fader or list to avoid accidently changing values when another interface design element hasn't yet been selected.

hello,
thanks for feedbacks
a) sometime can be dangerous on stage? I'm not fixed yet about the best way to display listbox. Let me time to think about it.

b)ok, of course!

Hello guys!

May I vote?
- Please, No to a (don't think about it, never. My idea was on the contrary to make it a little faster!)
- Of course, Yes to b.

I think that Usine must stay a live tool (i. e. some kind of music instrument), even if patching sometimes seems less practical it should be because of some strange behavior of text boxes or things like that. The mouse cable must not act like a belt pushing on it's ass and the mouse should surf on a horizontal surface. It is easier to get used with strange behaviors when working home than to think about so many risks of trouble on stage. On stage, I think music, if that can be called thinking... If Usine were supposed to be controlled only with midi surfaces, keyboard and mouse modules simply would not exist.

Thanks; and sorry, Bjørn, I don't mean, neither like to disagree, because you're a master.

Hi there guys,

as you probably had figured, I thought that maybe others would disagree... I didn't think of a) as possible problem in a live situation, I just wanted the list boxes to behave more like in most other Windows programs.

I don't have very strong feelings on the matter, but you nailed the mousing situation quite well Vincent! Been there yourself, perhaps?

Maybe it's possible to find a compromise? I'll take time to think about it.
