suggestion for Step array/sequencer modules

I could not find existing topic about this, so here's my suggestion for improvement of modules that use same kind of step bar drawing, as Display or Set Array or Step sequence. I'm talking about these and the rest of similar modules:



I think there's need for a mode switch between drawing across steps (as it does right now) and drawing steps separately (with multi-touch as well), essentially making it an array of faders without having to actually make several faders. What's more, it would be useful to have some button for enabling and disabling this mode in toolbar. This might be useful not only for step display mode, but also for lines (for lines this could use gridlock instead though).

Should be possible with the mouse, harder in multitouch.
I'll implement it but not in the toolbar, as an option in the settings: 'vertical lock'

the button in the toolbar is not a big deal, but the rest would sure make things easier for me.

oh, I see it's already implemented, although just one step edition at a time. hoping multi-touch with vertical lock will be implemented as well. Thanks!
