great add-on (never used it before few days ago) !!
Is there a way, on the visual display, to change the start of the loop (as we can change the end of it) ?
And is there any reason why, when I change the end of the sample selection, I can't see on it selected (darker grey) ?
I love the fact that you can play with reverse (or not) and it does re synchronisate when you switch back in normal !!

and another question is there a way to keep the name of the randomed name on the wave display when you've saved a sample (instead of it re-turning to rec at the beginning of the loop) ?

And now, of course I can set my start and end as I want, that's a good thing and that's what days are made to be full of (good things).

Hi grego mondo, it's nice to hear that someone has found a use for it!
I deliberately turned off the Show Loop option, so as not to mess up the loop by accident when mousing around on the screen, but of course that doesn't mean others should keep it that way.
I'v been working quite a bit on a new version of this workspace, and I'm getting close to ready by now - wish I could buy some time somewhere... The core of it and the general idea is the same, but I've added several functions that you might or might not find interesting.
Regarding the file name issue, I hadn't really thought anything about it - I'll see what I can do.

Hello grego mondo and others,
I haven't been using the save function of the samplers much, so I did a quick check of the behaviour of file names in the waveform display yesterday. From what I can tell, the display isn't updated with the filename until the file is selected in the sampler's list. That is the case even when the filename outlet showed a name. I think it makes sense in a way, since "rec" means newly recorded audio even when that audio has been saved to file.
The next version will have more samplers per instance, so I think I'll use the caption of the waveform to show what sampler it's connected to instead of the filename. After all, this workspace idea isn't based on using pre-recorded files anyway.
I also got some new ideas concerning the handling of loop points that I have partly implemented in the next version. I hope it's ready for uploading sometime during next week, and then I think I'm having a break from programming and start playing.

Hi Bjørn, Hi Grego Mondo!
We can say that Usine is good for musicians, of course, but for geekers too!
