I am doing some overlays with several objects however I am in need to lock these items together to move together. Is there anyway to group or move several items from the interface building view? I know you can in the patch modules, but I cant seem to figure out how to move say a group of faders together, or overlaid items.

easienst way is to put them all in a contenair, then move the contenair. create a new contenair module and in the visible option of items put them in this contenair

Yeah but I think the problem is that you can only do one container per patch correct?
I would love to do this way but only one available. We need this functionality.

You could perhaps put all the elements you want grouped into a given container into a sub-patch? I haven't tried it but wouldn't that allow you to have as many containers in a patch as you have sub-patches?

I've considered doing a sub-patches, but it complicates wiring said controls to VST plugin, and there's really no excuse for having just one container per patch.

I'll use subpatches and quicklinks to simplify wiring

well, in practice I found that using sub-patches actually trims down the clutter in patching window, so at least there's that. but still, I wish we could just shift-click things in the layout itself and move controls in groups, that would speed up things a lot.
