Am I going crazy? I have an old patch that contains vertical faders. In this patch, the colored fader block goes right across the fader and the caption is on top of the colored part.

When I add a fader in a new patch, the style is different. The vertical fader is divided into 2 sections, a strip at the background color that contains the caption, and strip next to it that has the colored fader block.

I can find no setting in to make a fader with the colored block across the whole width.
Where is the setting?

I can post screen shots if my description is not understandable.

text align I believe is the setting you want to use. Top is the two separate sections where the caption is above.
If you just want fader and caption acrossed the fader then use center.
