I have looked at the IML information on the website, but I am not sure if it is complete, so a few questions:
1. Is it possible using IML to delete a "wire" by only specifying one end of it ?
Obviously this could end up deleting multiple wires if a particular parameter is wired to several places.
For example if you do not know what is on the other end of the wire but you want to delete the wire anyway.
Or if you modify a script and the parameters are renumbered, you can end up with "broken" connections being shown in the patch GUI - which look like unterminated wires. These wires only have one end so you cannot specify the "other" end in order to delete it.
Or is there a way to specify something like ANY_MODULE, ANY_PARAMETER for the other end of a wire ?
2. Is it possible to trace the path of wires from one end using IML ? For example if would be useful if a script could examine what is connected to one of its parameters in order to debug incorrect operation ?
Thanks,
Simon.
