Can someone please show me an example of how to use the Additional Audio Input / Output modules to route audio from one patch to another? Not having any luck figuring it out..
My objective is to have some 36 channels of audio from one rack and 32 channels in another rack all be available as inputs to a third rack. Could use busses but I assume that would be less CPU friendly.
Just a two channel example would be fine, thanks!

By my best guess it should work like this but it doesn't. I have also tried with putting an Additional audio output module in rack 1.
Suggestions?

not sure to understand why you need additional output in that case..
you can use simple multiple audio out ?
here an example

Yes, I understand that the racks will pass multi channel audio but as I described above I need to converge many channels of audio from two racks into a third rack. The problem here in using just the Audio In /Out modules is that first the limit is 64 channels into a rack and I need a few channels more than that (excluding the use of busses) , and also when testing the signal flow path when two racks are input to one, I was unsure how best to unjumble the tangle of inputs and have no risk of any unintended routings and it seemed the Add IN module would be the cleanest option, assuming that is its intended use? (or that it is working properly?)

hello,
your right, it should work as describe in your screen shot.
in fact there is a routing issue in Usine, if a patch hasn't any audio in module, input is not calculated.
I'll take a look, but the workaround is to add 'audio input module' into the patch.

ps: this issue will be solved in the next release

Thanks Senso, that did the trick. One thing to note is that an audio input is required for each input of the Add In module. So Add In 32 requires 32 audio input modules. Also reloading the workspace after creating an Add In may be required. This works fine for now though.
Also, sorry maybe not the right place for this, but I have not been able to route MIDI between racks with the Add In module or direct from one rack to another. I'm assuming this might be related?
