More of a pre-bugreport than a patching question....

I am using HH on a brand-new install of windows 8.1 on my laptop, a dell 6420e. I just installed the whole NI komplete, and put the dll's in a particular folder. For compatibility, I made it exactly the same as my other computer, a mac mini also running windows 8.1 (I'll need HH 64-bit before I can run under macos.)

Problem is, I can't get HH to recognize the new folder. It goes through the process of checking the vsts, but when I'm done, there is nothing on the vst page in the browser, and my wkp says all the plugins no longer exist:

Any thoughts how I could fix this? I tried deleting all the .init files in the plugin folder inside config, but that did not help.

Any other ideas?

plug-ins are 64-bit, and so is HH.

Unless I installed them somehow into the wrong folder. Not quite sure how to check that.....

Okay, I added the 32bit folder, and now I seem to be okay--so I think that must be what happened. I'll look into it further.

Good thinking, thanks!!!!
