Hello.

A new topic specially for that stupid patch!

I forgot to explain a very important purpose of that patch: it's done to be used in correlation with a keyboard splitter. And when you split, you have shorter keyboards... well, not with the mapper!
Example with two splits (but you can have 3 splits with the Range Fader Module):
- Split 1: from 0 to 63, Octave = 1
- Split 2: from 64 to 127, remap all black keys of the 2 first octaves (64 to 88 = 10 keys) to 53...62.
As you see, that can easily expand and overlap splits for interesting instrumentation.
Not really shorter keyboards, but much more complicated... Well, as you said, Olivier, ?Everything has a cost...?

Waiting I'll manage to implement the note range filter in the script (it does not work with modules, no polyphony), this MIDI Mote Mapper Patch needs a small free Midi plug-in. It's all in this tiny ZIP (7 days until now).

Don't tell me you don't need such a stuff, I'll believe you.

Well boys, some news of my headaches.
I'm just wondering why such a simple thing is so complicated.
In SynthEdit there is an existing module called Midi Filter. Well, OK.
I just take it, two Lists to put limits on the note filter, two I/O, and make a DLL (≈0% CPU).
And use it in Usine.
It's just perfect. I can sleep now.
Please don't wake me up too early today with your crazy synths!
