Hi all it's still me (i probably missed a lot)
how to put markers in a wave form as when the sample is sliced
and how to move all the notes at the same time of a midi file in the piano roll
ie lower it of an octave cause when i record a sequence with my keyboard
in the piano roll between C3 and C4 it is recorded between C6 and C7
yet something i didn't understand
thank you in advance
good evening :)

1_ drag and drop a wave file and choose wavefile player
right click on the wave display and check show markers is on
now , on the wavedisplay control panel , you can insert markers , move them and more...

2_ just clik and drag to select several notes ( they become white ) now click and move..

3_you can check the settings of your keyboard or add a transpose script ( script/examples/midi transpose ) between your midi in and the piano roll

good work..

hey waleloid
for the slicer, need to double click to add one, double click on an existing one to remove, or click and drag to move it.
if you start fom an empty patch with a sampler and try to drag a wire from the "wavform" outlet it will create all conexions.

for the pianoroll, you can add a transpose patch between pianoroll and vst/midi out to lower one octave
or to select all notes press Ctrl+A on your keyboard (A mean all) , then if pressing maj (caps) you control all velocities, or
to transpose press alt and mouve your mouse up or down.

the "show markers" is in the layout options. whan you rightclic on wavdisplay choose "edit layout", then you should see
"show markers" option. turn it on :)

hello , i found the markers but there is one thing i don't understand
I have 5 or 6 wave files which are too long and i only need to play a part of them
then i thought that i could put markers to delimit the part to play in the sample
but it doesn't work i put 2 markers and move them on any places in the sample
but the sample is played entirely as if there was nothing
so the idiot question for tonight is : is it possible to do it and how
have a good evening and night too ;)

simpler than markers: to change the played zone you can drag the edges of the wavdisplay to define loop start and end.

move you mouse to the edges and you ll see some arrows, pick the right one (loop end) and bring it where you want
the end of your sample.

while you are here i explain better when you move the start and stop loop of the sample
it remains at the same place in the following sample (when you are in "next" in a combo box)
i try to have my samples in the same wave player and that when it changes it falls on the loop
I 'd wanted not in the same loop when you have several wave files the loop defined in the first
sample is at the same place in the second etc.....and i should want to define a different loop for each sample
that why i thought putting markers on each sample can make it
but i certainly did wrong
don't understand it'll be for another day
in later

oh i see im not expert on that nay probably knows better those manipulation

but one simple and powerfull solution i see and i always use is using the preset manager. it's very powerfull as it can store all your settings in a patch.so you can store all loop starts end and even file number, so changing preset will change sample and also loop
and all the settings you've chosen like pitch, gain ect...
it's located in /interface control.

drop a preset manager. load your first sample, edit the loop. press 'S' on preset manager then slot 1.
load then your second sample, change the loop, press 'S' then 2. it's done

here you got your two samples with independant loop setings, you can swich from one to other clicking on preset number.
you can keep your listbox as controlling the presets via connecting it to the num input of preset manager
if you want to prevent an item of being stored an recalled (ie your list box as it act as the controller shouldn't be saved),
you can make a right click on the item and choose 'not stored in preset manager'.

I wish you a good and enriching night
in later ;)
