IML to update preset lists

Here's something I'm wondering if could be done with an (init) object and IML. But I can't find a template for it, so I'm not sure how it's done.

Currently, when you drag from the program input or output on a vst, and select 'combo box', it creates a combo with the program list. I'd like to be able to get a current program list from a vst every time usine starts up, and send the comma-text out a buss. That way, when I write new programs, they will automatically show up in program lists.

Thoughts?

actually impossible with IML.
vst's aren't loaded by the IML.
maybe in the future?
