Hi everybody.

I'd like to record sample on the fly and could replay it later (with a midi note for example). OK it is easy to do.

But i'd like to keep only a part of this sample that begin after 2 sec the recording file start.

And i'd like to do it very speed in live session. No time to edit the sample.

For example :

I record 5 sec of saxophone in the live sesion.
Now i want to play this recording with my Midi controller but only the last 2 sec are interesting for me ...

do you have an idea to help me to begin to build this patch ?

Maybe i misunderstood what you want, but Usine already have this behavior 'built in'.

just drop a sampler, and extend the waveform pin from it, you'll obtain a ' wave display' module...

with this module, you can define the start ant end position of the sample by dragging the mouse from left and right of the module panel. Thus, reducing the sample to the part interesting you.

Is it what you need ?

Of course !!! I have been forgot this tools ....

I will try to build my patch with it.
