Currently there are just 3 options: lines, curves and steps. While I understand Steps being separate mode, I don't really understand why lines and curves are separate modes with no flexibility to them. Normally there should be just lines and then shift-drag on a line to bend it up or down. I miss that feature from other DAW's.

because the curves module has more inlets so it's internally different.
the lines and steps are closed.

the [ctrl] can be used to bend up&down on the 149

Hmm, tried it and doesn't seem to work. Also I've forgot that it actually has modes 'curve','step' and 'trigger' with optional 'bezier curve' which bends lines, but in same manner.

I haven't tried to use automations in grid before and I always thought that automations that can be recorded in rack and appear next to the patch, could be just dragged into grid to make them fit in timeline. Grid automation in general seems to be very disconnected with normal automation, it seems to be impossible to record automations in grid and only few types of controls are available there to be automated.

I think it would be much simpler if automations that currently can be recorded in rack would just record in grid inside rack (so affected rack would appear in grid automatically if not present) instead of those separate automations. and thus no problem with competing automations for same parameters as each section can have different automation takes and even inside section you could have different takes as it is now. and anything should be automated if needed, not just what grid allows currently.

oups, it's the [shift+ctrl] can be used to bend up&down on the 154, only on sequenced modules.

It seems to just squash or extend the whole curve with that and pans with just shift.
