Quick-Zoom Patch Edit Window - Independently

I would love to be able to quick-zoom the Patch Edit Independently from the Racks.

Seems my patches are getting very big, it would be very intuitive to be able to zoom out the edit window.
Maybe a shortcut key while using the mouse scroll to zoom in/out would be sufficient.

I remember in the past I had suggested a birds eye view....the zoom functionality would really be the best approach.
