Hello
I suppose it's not very easy.
But it would be fantastic if sampler recording could follow the play position, the pitch, the speed and the loop lengh.
Actually, when i'm in overdub mode, if i make a record when i'm in reverse, the new input isn't recorded à the position where the sampler is like a traditional looper.
i suppose that it's a problem to the core of the sampler. So peharps a sampler module dedicated to overddubing would be the solution ( with undo please !!!).
So for my project, i need also a reverse, pitch (eventually stretching) , marker to slicing and of course overdubbing and circular buffer mode.
I notice to when i use sampler in overddubing, it make a lot of click.
I know that this question is not very easy to resolve, and i wonder how the hardware loopers avoid it .
thanks a lot.
JF

it's a sampler for the "elite" ;)

very modular and highly tweakable, needs extra patching to make it works to one's taste.

note that if end marker is before start marker, it goes backward
there is a cross fade fonction as well

it can read up to 64 loops of the same sample.
in that case you can choose play mode to get continuous loops or one shot loops that end either at end of shortest one or longuest one.

you can only record samples live, no read from file yet.

Have fun !

as I said it is different :
up to 64 loops from the same sample will reduce RAM use
minimal blocksize : when end and start marker are very close you can choose from glitchy to smooth...
Xfade...lofi or interpolated quality...

now, that I read again your post, you maybe right :
there is a record pos output on my module, but I'm not sure you'll be able to patch what you need !
cheers
