just a thought, no pb if backward pbs or other as there are workarounds for booth

but it may be usefull sometimes to get the NB of elements of a commatext, ie on listbox or comboboxes

a script can easy pick the commatext and count, but it could avoid process and cost less cpu with big lists i suppose
could be nice to get it straight out of a pin on module, equivalent of max of a fader.

another thing but maybe more complex would be a flush or clear all preset, and ability to recall/reload same preset via
maybe an extra forced "recall actual num". ie we are on preset 0 make changes and wanna recall back 0,
edit mmm i could maybe trig the according recall button via iml instead of controlling num, so...

mind ya we can just delete and recreate the module to flush, but it might need rewiring.
recalling same can be cheated by changing nb and back to nb too

so not very important stuff, just in case

it's a good suggestion but:

- will be not really more efficient that a script (in all the case I have to make calculation in Usine itself or in a patch)
- will cost cpu and memory for all the listbox/combobox in all patches, only for a very specific use.

Actually the script is the best option?

yes no pb, plus i don't really need that often,
it was in case the SL.count already existed as a variable inside the module.

anyway a script do the job nicely so no worries
