update of previous 128pm allows 256 presets or more.
Previous version could fail to recall presets sometimes. this one should fix the pb.
Now senso made PM to target parent patch, you just have to drop the patch in the patch where wanna save datas.
it also includes a simple name editor. just double clic on header to edit preset name.
ive made it simple list box based to be usine native compatible, but im sur nay could adapt for
a scrollable matrix version

think can be useful if felt limited by 16 in some cases or wanna link to conductor NB.
ive filled the list box up to 128 but you can continue up to 256. if need even more, create more PM like explained in the patch.

edit: i finally couldn't resist ang went also for a Matrix scrollable version where man can assign a color to a cell/preset too, and change matrix size.

Wow, thanks!!!
I have had a few minor recall probs with the old one. (Not looking forward to resetting all my presets, but I guess I will.....)
I recently discovered that I can use this with Kontakt to avoid the need to use Kontakt banks. This has saved me a huge amount of RAM, and given me access to lots more sounds!
Usine Rocks!!!!

yes there was a pb if recalling same preset that taget pm was last set on.
cool if helpful for you , i myself consider using more PM than classical pgmchange to recall vst+all around in the patch.
maybe you could just copy the pm modules to keep the presets, might work.
between, if just finished a sexy scrollable matrix version where can as well quich assign name and color to a cell/preset,
find it cool to organize/visualize sets of presets.
will post a bit later.

Hmmm.... I'm not getting this to work.... Is there a reason you used a switch rather than a button for saving? Do I have to click it twice then? Not that it's helping....
Well, I'll try a restart. Maybe my wkp got unstable.
[edit: yeah, it failed to save....]

mmm nope i use a swich to be like pm and allow copy and paste. enable swich then you have to clic nb you wanna save too, then
the swich should auto go off, exactly likethe classical pm behaviour.
edit now some Mx version avaible.

Niether the save nor the clear button goes off for me, even when I just open the patch in its own slot with nothing else.
The buttons do not go off, and there is nothing written to the console.
Recall does write to the console.
I'd attach my patch, but it's literally just open the patch from the track slot. Is there something else needs to happen???

Has anyone else gotten this to work? I'm wondering if the uploaded file is not correct....

just re test the 2 version again, no problem here, the only thing I've do is to extract the sub-patch directly in the patch i need to save ( at first this sub-patch is in an other sub-patch , not needed..? )

Here's a screenshot showing the setup. The lines you see in the console are from pressing the button. It does not shut off. Nothing further happens.

Most puzzling!

Let me make sure I'm doing this right. This worked with the old PM.
1. select an item in the list
2. adjust data in patch
3. press save in PM
4. select new list item
5. adjust data to new value
6. press save in PM
7. go back to previous list item
8. data in patch should change, right??
When I recall a patch, it says it recalls, but also says it's empty. No matter how many times I press the S button. And the button always stays on after I press it. I just tried it with nothing but a single fader in the patch. Doesn't save the value!
Just re-downloaded the patch, just in case. Nothing changed.

was just testing on 3 different machines without result( vista32, seven 32 & 64 ) works fine
but your last message give the solution :
you change your preset in the combo box
press save in the preset manager
then click on the list item....
but this don't explain the console message...

mm i think nay may have found the solution! yep orders must be
1) move a param
2) enable S
3) clic an item nb in the listbox (the one provided in the patch) (can be same nb) (ie 2)
this should store to this slot and make store off.
4) move a different param or to a different value
5)enable S
6) clic a new slot (ie3)
this will store to this slot and make store off
then clicing2 or 3 should recall the differents values.
but you shoud clic an item in the list/matrix, not it the combo you added, as the script will store/clear when receiving a mouse down info(this to allow to save to same nb, as num wouldn't change)
i will make a new version to pick comma in, but you can feed the listbox comma inside the script by the vst comma.
however you should just set it once then delete wire if wanna be able to rename presets.
try this if not working try to put all your vst + the preset patch in a subpatch, but it should work as is
howerver i find it strange the console shows var PATCH= TARTGET_PATCH_SCRIPT.
it should show var PATCH= (no)name patch if im not wrong mmmm
be sure the patch that contains the PMmodules is not in another subpatch. when you see the pm modules,
it will save the datas of the parent patch, one level upper. if subpatched 2x this might not work.
i made a version directly scrollable on matrix with inertia, will post a bit later..

Ahhh, so after I press S, I need to select a preset from your combo....
I thought I did not need to do it that way with the old one--it seemed to automatically store the VST state to the currently selected slot, whenever I pressed S....
This is working now!! However I notice a small bug. If you already have the preset you want selected, it does not get stored.... so you have to select some other preset, edit that, and then save it where you actually want it. (the opposite of what I did before!) If the selection in the list doesn't change value, nothing is recorded.
In the test pgm, it was the very beginning of an idea where I'd recall a whole bank to the VST using PM, and then select one of the presets in it from the combo. I expect I will need to add a delay on the combo output..... and I will want the combo not controlled by PM, but only by the conductor (so maybe outside the subpatch....)
In any case:
THANKS!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to check in--has anybody else had the problem with this crashing usine? I think that all the parameters need to have FASTCALLBACK set to false, or usine randomly crashes.
However, I am also having a problem with the list being scrolled out from under my mouse when I select a slot to store a preset, which then stores to the wrong slot. Anyone else seeing this? Wondering if it's a side-effect of the slow callbacks....
